Typical Day Of Our Three Year Olds:

9:30 - 9:40 a.m.  Children arrive and we start the day with a worksheet, colorsheet, playdough, puzzles or journals.

9:40 - 9:55 a.m.  Circle time led by preschool teacher.  Opening prayer, picking student of the day, current weather conditions, calendar basics, Pledge Of Allegiance and two preschool songs of the teacher's choice.

9:55 - 10:10 a.m.  Bible story from Gospel Light.

10:10 - 10:50 a.m.  Station Rotation (where children cycle through various stations - including language/literacy, math, puzzles, role playing, building blocks, sensory, and crafts).

10:50 - 11:10 a.m.  Clean up, prayer, personal hygiene and snack time.

11:10 - 11:25 a.m.  Inside or Outside free play.

11:25 - 11:45 a.m.  Music or Group art.

11:45 - 12:00 p.m. Closing circle led by preschool teacher.  Closing prayer, good- bye song, show and tell.

Inclement Weather Policy 

During the winter we might be experiencing some snow, power outages and hazardous road conditions. Since it’s always hard to decide whether we should have school or not our school follows the South Kitsap School District schedule during inclement weather. If South Kitsap School District is closed or has a two hour delay Adventureland Preschool will be closed.
