Mrs. Terri

Hi my name is Terri, I am the Director of Adventureland Christian Preschool and want to welcome you !  I have many years of experience with teaching and caring for young children.  I manage to stay current on policies and learning strategies by continuing my knowledge with college-level Early Childhood Educational courses.  My passion is for your child to learn about Jesus Christ and ensure  that they are successfully prepared for Kindergarten and beyond.  The Lord has provided me with a way to serve and teach his love and it is truely a blessing.  We have wonderful dedicated teachers that continue to shower our children with love, learning and laughter. It is always exciting to work with a great group of teachers and students.   Come join us for  a great adventure.

Mrs. Lisa

Hello. I am Teacher Lisa and am so excited to be working with your child this school year. My husband Chris and I are originally from California but moved to Port Orchard in 2004 to raise our children and be closer to family who also live here. Our 3 children Brandon, Eric, and Heather keep us on our toes and very busy. In my spare time I love to read, work in the yard(if it’s not raining, ha-ha) and going walking. I love the Lord with all my heart and it is such a blessing to be able to share his love with our preschoolers.

Mrs. Mary

Hi! My name is Mary and and I've been a preschool teacher at Adventureland preschool for 3 years. I have been married for 21 years and have 2 terrific kids. Jake, who is 10 and Erica, who is 8. They are very special to me and I enjoy sharing my love of scrapbooking with them along with traveling and cooking. When I'm not at preschool, I volunteer in my children's classrooms at Hidden Creek. I also attend St. Gabriel's Catholic Church where I also volunteer in Sunday school. God gave me a strong love for children and I want to embrace that by helping out with children whenever I can. Children make me smile and they keep me on my toes.

Mrs. Anna

My name is Anna, I am a mother of 2 young children in elementary school. Outside of teaching at Adventureland; I volunteer as the Early Childhood Director for Newlife South campus and also attend Olympic College. God has given be the passion to work with young children since I was a teen volunteering in nursery and Sunday school. It is a blessing to able to spend time and get to see all the silly/smart/innocent things children do and say and see the many different learning styles I have come across. I love this job because I get to laugh, dance, sing and play but most importantly I get to share Gods love and teach Gods word to children at such a young age. On the weekend you could find me with my famiily exploring nature on hikes or skipping rocks by the water, playing sports with friends, swimming at our local high school, reading at our local library, laughing or crying infront of a TV screen or scrapbooking with my kids. I look forward to a wonderful adventure teaching and sharing God's love with our preschoolers and getting them ready for Kindergarten.

      Mrs. Kristen

My name is Kristen, and I have a wonderful husband who is a firefighter, and two beautiful girls in elementary school. We enjoy camping and playing games together. I also love to scrapbook and to read. Teaching preschoolers is great, because I get to help them learn about the world through play and crafts! I absolutely love to see that spark when they finally "get it," whether it's reading words for the first time, understanding numbers, knowing how things are made, or realizing that God loves them all the time (when they're good and when they're bad). They are super excited when they accomplish something, and I love to be there to encourage them along the way! I'm reminded daily that God loves us and wants the best for us. He wants each of your children to know that they are loved, to learn to love others, and to be confident in their strengths.

Ana Decoy

My name is Ana Decoy. I am married to a wonderful man and I have a son that loves to skateboard. I am originally from Colombia and my husband is from Washington State. On my spare time I love to exercise, go to the park with my son and spend time with my family. I volunteer in the Sunday preschool ministries at my church. I love to work with young children because they are very innocent, cute, fun, and honest. I like to help them learn new things and encourage them to explore there surroundings. One great thing about being a Christian is that I am closer to God and He blesses me with everything. God has great influence in my life so I can be a better person.
