Mrs. Terri

Hi my name is Terri, I am the Director of Adventureland Christian Preschool and want to welcome you !  I have many years of experience with teaching and caring for young children.  I manage to stay current on policies and learning strategies by continuing my knowledge with college-level Early Childhood Educational courses.  My passion is for your child to learn about Jesus Christ and ensure  that they are successfully prepared for Kindergarten and beyond.  The Lord has provided me with a way to serve and teach His love and it is truely a blessing.  We have wonderful dedicated teachers that continue to shower our children with love, learning, and laughter. It is always exciting to work with a great group of teachers and students.   Come join us for  a great adventure.

                       

                                  Mrs. Kristen

Hi, I'm Teacher Kristen, and I love teaching the Pre-K class. It's so fun watching the students learn at their own pace and reach individual goals throughout the year. My husband and I are originally from Pennsylvania, but we've made the Northwest our home since 1999. I received my degree from Penn State University in Elementary Education, and I enjoy continuing my education in a variety of areas. I spend much of my time raising my two girls, reading, working on Girl Scouts, gardening, and I'm actively involved in my church family and God's mission. I look forward to being a part of your children's lives as we learn together this year!

           

Mrs. Lisa

Hello. I am Teacher Lisa and am so excited to be working with your child this school year. My husband Chris and I are originally from California but moved to Port Orchard in 2004 to raise our children and be closer to family who also live here. Our 3 children Brandon, Eric, and Heather keep us on our toes and very busy. In my spare time I love to read, work in the yard (if it’s not raining, ha-ha) and going for a walk. I love the Lord with all my heart and it is such a blessing to be able to share his love with our preschoolers.

                              

                                 Miss Courtney             

Hello! My name is Teacher Courtney. I am 21 years old and I am so excited to be working with your wonderful kids this year! I am very active in my church. I currently serve as  the 4/5's Sunday School Director and I'm a high school small group leader at youth group! I love spending time with my friends, who have become my family and enjoying this beautiful life that God has provided for me! I love to singing and laugh a lot and watch Disney princess movies with my sisters!

                 

                               Mrs. Tanya

Hello! My name is Tanya Hawkins, I am so excited to start working at Adventureland. My husband Calvin and I live in Port Orchard and have 4 amazing kids. Their names are Kyle, Kyra, Levin and Xander. They keep us very busy, but I still find the time to do some of things I enjoy like gardening and walking on the beach. My passion has always been to serve in children's ministries. I have been blessed with wonderful opportunites to hold babies in the nursery on Sundays,  teach preschool at Adventureland and doing child care for Zumba.  God has held a special place in my life and Im excited to be able to share His love with you and your children.
